LITTLE BEAUTIFULS

We awaken to a New Day and

this dear one resting in his sweet, tamped down bed beneath the tree blooming outside our bedroom window.  Annabelle Fluff sits perched attentively on the windowsill, transfixed on birds flitting about in the grasses.  They sing fiercely as if just realizing they've been quiet far too long.  Having moved to the Olympic Peninsula late last fall, our first spring here.  

Rachel Carson wrote, "Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life."

O, let it be so!
